Purple Pattern Purse

~ Purple Pattern Purse ~

 When I went to get the handle for the Leftovers Handband I saw this material and I  HAD to make something with it. 

 I cut out these pieces. Sides, front, and back.

 Sewing the sides on was a little tricky.

 but this is how they ended up.

 I then sewed on the flap and hemmed around the top. 

 I used a blanket stitch for the sides.

 I sewed the button and button hole.

 And then added a cute polka dot ribbon for the strap.

 Super easy!

I wish the bright purple showed up better in the pics. Its really an amazing material. I have some left over so I think I might play around and try a coin purse or makeup bag.
